• Rainbow Road Bridge at the Buckeye Irrigation District Canal Project

  Beginning March 24, 2008, MCDOT contractor will close Rainbow Road between Southern Avenue and MC85. Closure is necessary to perform post-construction contractor warranty work. Roadway will reopen on March 28, 2008 at 5:00 AM.
• Traffic Signal Installation: Carefree Highway and 7th Street

  Starting March 26, 2008, MCDOT contractor will begin installing new upgraded traffic signals at the intersection of Carefree Highway and 7th Street. The project is slated for completion in early summer 2008.
• Chandler Heights Road Bridge at Sonoqui Wash Improvement Project

  Bridge slated to open on Monday, March 24, 2008.
  MCDOT contractor has nearly completed construction of the new bridge on Chandler Heights Road over Sonoqui Wash.
• Forepaugh Peak Road (North of US 60)

  In response to numerous public inquiries regarding options for dust mitigation and roadway maintenance on Forepaugh Peak Road north of US 60, MCDOT has conducted an evaluation and is holding an informational presentation for affected property owners.
• Elliot Road (383rd Avenue to 435th Avenue) Roadway Maintenance & Traffic Safety Activity

  Beginning March 10, 2008, MCDOT will start construction activity to improve the existing roadway "dip-section" and cattle guard.
• Old Stagecoach Road at New River Wash: Drainage Improvement Project

  Beginning March 10, 2008, MCDOT will start construction activity to improve the existing unpaved low water crossing at New River Wash on Old Stagecoach Road just north of New River Elementary School.
• Jackrabbit Trail Corridor Study

  MCDOT is conducting the final in a series of three public open house meetings to gather community input about potential improvements along the Jackrabbit Trail corridor between Interstate 10 and Bell Road.
• MC85: Turner Road to SR85

  Phase 2 Turner Road/Hazen Road Intersection Improvement Project
  Beginning this month, MCDOT, in partnership with ADOT, will construct a new two-lane westward extension of MC85 from Turner Road to SR85 and Hazen Road intersection.
• Mingus Road Box Culvert
